What we store

Your account details (name, email, a securely hashed password), your family's daily location log (a country per person per day, plus optional workday flags and residence-tie settings), and a basic activity log (logins, imports, edits) used to operate and improve the service.

How your data is used

Only to run TaxDin for you: computing your day counts, showing your dashboard, and — if you set it up — mirroring your family's records to your own Google Sheet as a backup. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers. Your data is visible only to members of your family account (including any admin access you grant, such as an assistant or accountant).

Emails

We send transactional emails only: family invitations and password reset links. No marketing lists, no newsletters unless you opt in to one in the future.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics on the public site to understand aggregate usage. Your daily location data is never sent to analytics.

Security

Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, sessions use signed HTTP-only cookies, and password reset tokens are stored only as one-way hashes with a one-hour expiry. Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database.

Deleting your data

You can wipe your family's entire location history at any time from the Account dialog ("Delete all data"). To delete your account entirely, contact us and we will remove it.
